The manufacturing engineering is one of the core competences of the IDVA. We have wealth experience with resin infusion and resin injection processes. In our workshop we are able to test and optimize specialized components and manufacturing processes.

In the following you will find a selection of reference projects of both fields of activity

  • Continuous and automated manufacturing of dry carbon fiber preforms (multiaxial fabric, NCF) with multiple curvatures.
  • Manufacturing of natural fiber reinforced test sheets (flax fiber reinforcement) for use in material qualification.
  • Manufacturing of a thick walled infusion CFRP-part for the primary structure (aerospace industry) using a high temerature resin system.
  • Formulation of process parameters of a winding machine on basis of simulation of the winding process and the component structure.
